Can I Advertise Here?
The answer to that question is more than likely. Our idea for advertising is to get companies that offer related materials or services to our audience. We do not want to advertise "Russian Brides 4 U" on our web site, since it is a very specialized site.

Would you be interested in an affiliate program with our company?
Noated is not in the market to accept any more affiliate programs or offers. We have tried these in the past and have not had any success with them. To simply fill our web site with banners and graphics that do not interest our users, or do not pay enough for it to be worth the intrusion, is not our goal. At this time we are not accepting or signing up for any more affiliations/banner exchanges/etc.

Would you consider pop-up/under advertisements?
The answer is a resounding NO! As much as pop-up advertising pays, the member-annoyance rate is much too high to justify making a buck or two.

Advertising on our site is simple!
When you purchase advertising space, we will add your ad code to either our rotation scheme or as a stand alone banner, depending on your advertising package. We also have an option to host your web banner on our servers if you do not have the bandwidth to do so yourself.
Please note: this is a heavily trafficked site, us hosting your banner will not cost you extra and will save you bandwidth.

Banner Dimensions and Requirements
We strongly believe that if you follow these requirements your banner will be optimally viewed on our web site. We've set these limitations to assist users with slow internet connections. Here's the dimensions and limitations for our banners:

Standard Banner
468 x 60 pixels
Gif, JPEG or Flash (flash is much more likely to get filtered by web clients than Gif or JPEG)
Maximum file size is 50 kb, although we strongly encourage you to make file sizes as low as possible.
Animations are encouraged.

Side Button
120 x 90 pixels
Gif, JPEG or Flash
Maximum file size is 20kb, although we strongly encourage you to make file sizes as low as possible.
Animations are encouraged.

Mini Button
88 x 31 pixels
Gif, JPEG or Flash
Maximum file size is 5kb, although we strongly encourage you to make file sizes as low as possible.
Animations are encouraged.

If you see a spot on our web site you want to plug a graphical banner or some information that you want to get out to members, contact us and we will negotiate something with you.

Advertising Rules
We have fairly strict advertising guidelines, due to the unique consumer focus of our site, and our own personal beliefs. We feel that these guidelines are important in keeping our service valuable to both consumers and to advertisers. These rules include:

- No misleading advertisements. This includes but is not limited to: fake scrollbars, ads which appear to be images, ads made to look like text links, ads which look like Windows functions or errors.
- No false claims. For example, if your ad states that something is "free", that needs to be a true statement.
- Nudity is NOT allowed, this is a rated PG-13 site.
- All sites who make any reference to teens must have some reasonable assurance that they comply with the laws in the U.S.
- We reserve the right to reject any advertiser, for any reason.
- Text appearing in the “alt tag” must pertain to the creative and not “spam”.
- Creatives must function uniformly on various computer platforms. Support must also be provided for various web browsers.

Reserving Space
Please contact us for current availability. When ad spaces do open up, it tends to be towards the end the month. Advertising is billed from the 1st of the month through the 1st. If we have a spot open and you buy mid-month we will pro-rate that month. You can contact us for availability by email, or by telephone at 561-376-5039 (ImagineWorks, LLC). A spot is not guaranteed until we have seen & approved both your ad and your website.

What About Pricing?
From time to time, we run specials, therefore it is not practical for us to display our prices out for the public. If you are serious about advertising on our web site, please e-mail us and we will send you our rate sheet. We also like special favors, so if you have something to trade or give to our members, let's make a deal!

Considering sponsoring a Noated Giveaway?
As often as possible, we like to thank our members for making our site their home on the web. Here is where you can come in to save the day (and at the same time get some priceless free advertising)! As with any sponsorship, there is plenty of benefit to you. We normally conduct sponsored giveaways by offering a company's (your) donated product in the giveaway (you can send items to us, or simply ship it directly to the winner) in exchange for a sponsorship announcement throughout the life of the giveaway. As you'll notice with any Noated contest, all sponsors get a push to visit their store (with a direct link of your choosing) within the contest/giveaway text.

Reporting
The efficiency and performance of your banner, button and other campaigns can be easily determined using our instant report generation option available to you, for no extra charge, at any time you choose by visiting an assigned URL with your login/password that contains your advertising campaign information.

Payment
We currently accept PayPal or credit card payments thru PayPal. Credit card and PayPal payments are notified 10 days PRIOR to each month, so that you have ample time to make payment before the due date.
Check or Money Order: If you choose to pay by check or money order, your payments will be due 5 days prior to the start date of your ad. This means the check has to clear our bank 5 days before the renewal date. You will be invoiced mid-month for the following month, and if payment is not received by 5 days prior to the renewal date, you may lose your ad position.

General Conditions
Submission of any advertisement shall constitute acceptance of the following General Conditions:
As used in this section titled “General Conditions”, the term “publisher” shall refer to ImagineWorks, LLC.

All insertion orders are accepted subject to provisions of our current rate card. Rates are subject to change upon written notice from the publisher. If the publisher changes advertising rates, any space reserved may be cancelled by the advertiser or its agency at the time the change becomes effective without incurring extra charges.

Advertisements are accepted upon the representation that the advertiser and its agency have the right to publish the contents thereof. In consideration of such publication, advertiser and its agency agree to indemnify and hold publisher harmless against any expense or loss by reason of any claims arising out of publication.

All contents of advertisements are subject to publisher’s approval. Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising creative which at its discretion is deemed objection-able, misleading, not in the best interests of the readers, or contrary to Federal and State regulations, whether or not the ad had previously been accepted and/or published. Publisher further reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement, insertion order, space reservation,or position commitment at any time without giving cause.

Publisher reserves the right to insert the word “advertisement” or "sponsor" above or below any creative.

Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery in the event of Act of God, action by governmental or quasigovernmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes whether legal or illegal, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow down, or any condition beyond the control of publisher affecting production or delivery in any manner.

Publisher shall have the right to hold advertiser an/or its advertising agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the publisher for advertising which advertiser or its agency ordered and which advertising was published.

No conditions other than those set forth in this rate card shall be binding on the publisher unless specifically agreed to in writ-ing by the publisher. Publisher will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on insertion orders or copy instructions which conflict with provisions of this rate card.
