STARTING OVER

hiya dispy! i am one of the oldest (and actually one of the one with lowest post count ever) members of the forum as attested by my join date.

i had seen how this forum be popular years ago and now.... a single forum is what remains....

i am goin to suggest that we (and i mean we) make a new noated out of this. in short starting over.

this place was so important to me since its my first forum and even now, i have been an active forumer on other sites and has even become a moderator.

i know i am in no position to but if its possible, i would really like to help.

i can do some decent graphics now (i remember posting some of my drawings here years ago) and i want to take the challenge to bring noated back to its former glory.

well, hope youll listen and at leat give my suggestion a shot or something

No offense, but if you read the other posts on the "single forum", you'd know it's only temporary while I finish up the NEW noated.

The new noated is not only completely new and totally re-vamped, but it also contains ALL the old posts going back to the very start of the origional boards that typus started.

I've got like 50 things on my "TO DO NOW!" list, and this one keeps getting moved back. Sad thing is that it's almost done too, just like 500 more of the "imported_username" accounts to manually fix by hand, and it's all done.

...on top of that my dispy.com site is expiring in a few days, a friends' site that he wants to pay me to develop for him has said "coming soon" for a month now, a HUGE and VERY active forum (non-anime) that I also run needs upgrading to the latest version of vB (and that one actually makes me a few bucks a month unlike this one... lol), and I have a HUGE webshop project (as in e-commerce) that I haven't even started yet.

Real life keeps getting in the way, not to mention a few side (offline) projects (vendor tables at cons and such), and my actual real weekday job that pays all the bills (including paying for the servers this site uses). Plus, I got rear-ended and need to take my car in... and my computer is on it's last legs.

Gawd, I sound like i'm whining and making excuses don't I? I don't mean to... sorry to vent... i'm just totally stressed at the moment!!!

...but, yeah. I'll try and MAKE the time to finish this up this weekend!!
